The maintenance of your yacht's fine finish is our business. Whether it is the complete refinishing of a classic wooden yacht, the annual maintenance on a fiberglass production cruiser, or something in between, our experience will provide you with a finish that can be maintained, year after year, through our standard maintenance schedule.

With a traditional varnish finish, which is our specialty, our first step is to bring any neglected or failing areas back to a serviceable state. This process may involve stripping the existing finish from the entire boat, or just sections, and building up to 8 coats of varnish. Once this has been accomplished, the annual maintenance consists of touch-ups and the application of two full coats of varnish.

We also have extensive experience with Sikkens-Cetol, which many boat owners find to be good alternative to the more labor-intensive varnish finish.

We work year-round. Some boats are finished during the spring and summer while in the water and others are brought to our shop in the off-season. Either way, our commitment is to giving the boat owner the maximum time enjoying their vessel, and the minimum amount of hassle over maintenance.
